Golden Gate Park

Pretty much everything in Golden Gate park was blooming. It was beautiful. The weather was gorgeous with a cool ocean breeze. My delightful tulip trees.
How beautiful.

We thought about going to teh deYoung museum, but it was $10 and Tami and I are not very enthusiastic about modern art. Tami needed a rest before venturing on. Great time to catch some candids of them.
If you click on this picture it should blow up and you can see Evie crossing her eyes. It is too cute.
The loving family.
The beautiful Shakespearean theatre, I just wished they did not have that sheet on it. But I am guessing they are attempting some restoration or something.

The tops of the columns on either side of the stage.

The Japanese tea garden, the cherry blossoms were in full bloom.
Under the cherry blossoms.

Mommy and me picture. How gorgeous are those red flowers.

Blossoms up close.

I loved the handle on this door and use of color.

The colors here were breathtaking. Tami took the time to explain to Evie how God created it all.

Just the girls.
Mom are you proud, I now take time to admire the beauty of flowers, especially on film.
Oh those reds.
Love Japanese architecture.

Here Tami is explaining to Evie that we do not worship idols. We worship and bow down to God and God alone, with a capital G o d.

These bushes look like works of art.

Working on my creativity here.

Ok funny story. So there are little stone slab bridges all throughout the garden, over a creek that runs through. Near every bridge is a sign saying be careful not to slip and fall etc. Evie had about had enough and so we were trying to head out. Up came one of those bridges. There were two heavier ladies just standing on it. So Tami excused herself to get around them. This particular bridge had two slabs or one side was wider than the other. So the lady in front moved over and as Tami tried to get around the lady in back, I guess she assumed she had as much room to move because she tried to step over and that was where the stone was less wide and she missed. I don't remember if that first foot went straight into the water or if it hit the dirt incline and slid down. Either way she was going down. There was practically no stop though her foot was in the water and then her leg, then her thigh, up to her waist and continued on so that some of her hair got wet. It all happened so slowly and Hong was trying to help her but just couldn't. She was so embarrassed and kept saying she was fine. Tami felt bad and kept apologizing and eventually her husband came up and literally shooed us off. She looked like a tourist, so hopefully her hotel was nearby so she could go and get changed quickly. It was not so comfortable to be soaking wet with that breeze. This bridge was on the other side of the tiny bridge she fell off of.
Peek-a-boo

A relaxing little waterfall.

California Dreaming

I have now returned from California and am sad to be home. I just love traveling and visiting such dear sweet friends. I will be updating the blog probably every day so I can catch you all up on the pictures.
Tami and I made a run out for groceries on this day and when we came home this is what we found...
How sweet, daddy loving on his baby girl, or Baby-doo as he often calls her.
Hong normally burps her after nursing. What a CUTE face.

No no paparazzi. She is really using her hands now too. It was funny to watch her use them when she was awake and how she would place them when she was asleep.
Tired girl but often she would keep one eye slightly open just to make sure she was not missing anything.
The little fingers on her Daddy's chest.
Little head FULL of hair.
Mommy time

Kisses from mom, now that face should not come until she is a teenager.

Talking to baby. She is really starting to coo and smile at you a lot, that is when she is not hungry, gassy or having tummy trouble.

The smiles that melt your heart.

Excitment and wiggling.

A big open mouth smile. Tami was so excited to capture these moments on camera.

California Update

I am alive and greatly enjoying my time here. Currently I am babysitting while Hong and Tami go see a movie. Evie just fell asleep so I am able to type a little bit and make you all jealous of the cuteness you are missing out on. The cheeks I could eat up all day everyday. I will just wet your appetite for now and post all the pictures when I get home.
These were taken while I was holding the baby during her morning nap. True talent I tell you holding a baby and taking pictures at the same time.

How cute is their little family?
Japanese Tea Garden at Golden Gate Park. Sorry you will have to turn your head again.

The gorgeous cherry blossoms were in full bloom.
The pacific ocean.
It was very windy!
