After work Friday we went up to see Hailey and her little baby boy. He is sooo cute. He was busy sleeping and tried to remain that way the whole time we were there. Hailey had gone in to be put on a Pitossin drip Thursday night, to try to get her dialated and effaced. Friday morning the little guy was still just floating and as they increased the Pitossin he continued to stay put. After they had her on the highest dose they give and she had not progressed at ALL, they decided to do a C-section. Almost all of her family has had C-sections due to small pelvic openings, so she may have had to have one anyway. So at 11:24 or so Jett was delivered, almost a week past his due date.

Tapered Pants
All sorts of things are going on around our house lately. Rachel has been in a whirlwind of wedding stuff. I have taken easy for the most part but have found that I have been more tired so instead of getting home and getting some scrapbooking done, I am WAY behind, I need a nap. My naps are not what most people consider normal either. If I can't get at least 2 hours it is not even worth laying down. I just feel more tired when I get up. Without an alarm set any given Sunday I will sleep about 4 hours.
I just got back from school. I had to go and try on uniforms for our labs and clinicals. And let me tell you I really strongly dislike tapered pants. Our choice of pants was classic which had nice looking seams down the front with a tapered leg (UGGG) or the relaxed fit which were a little less tapered and a little baggier, which made the taper in them resemble more of a MC Hammer pant. So I decided to go with the classic, more tapered, less MC Hammer pant. Oh what they put us through. I am really thinking about going to good ole Joann's and seeing if they have any material that matches so I can do my own altering of the evil taper. I also learned that there are only 8 students this year as opposed to the 17 last year, so we will only have one lab class. She normally has to break us into two lab groups. I am so glad that I emailed her and requested that I get into the Wed/Thurs group because she decided that would be when we have our lab. She told me don't worry I remembered you. I am so glad that I can continue to serve and attend our Bible study.
Tonight Rachel has the rehearsal and dinner to go to so I think I will just lay low at the house and get some scrapbooking done. Then tomorrow we will both leave early and Rachel will have her hair trimmed and styled and then we will get to the church where she will get ready and I will start taking tons of pictures. I am so happy that Amy wants me to be free to take tons of pictures all day. I really need some practice especially indoors with my big daddy flash. I am so psyched!
Next week the Fetterly's are leaving us so Jimmy can work on his doctorate in Florida, so Sunday there is going to be a farewell shower/party and I will be helping out with that in the afternoon. Then I have about 3 weeks to make the most of my life until I start the registration, orientation and school thing again. I am ready to get this last year over with but I don't want to sacrifice my social life too. I pray I can schedule well and find a balance for my life.

Hailey's Last Maternity
Saturday Hailey stopped by to pick up some movies and was a great sport in allowing me to take some shots of her the day before her due date. Alas she is still pregnant, but is scheduled to go to the hospital tonight to start a pitossin drip and then they will induce her in the morning.

Going Away Party
Last Friday we had a going away party for Peter, who is heading to Louisville for seminary and Zach and Molly Stanton who will be going to Houston so he can work on his doctorate. Bob and Rob Molden opened up their house and grilled us burgers. It was a lot of fun.
Sweet Susanna and I.
