DONE DONE DONE
As of May 15 I am done with my first year of school. Yeah! I am so excited! I only have one more year to go. I am half-way done with my degree. I already recieved my grades for one course but I am still waiting to see the exact percentage of my other course this semester. I was blessed to make all A's again. Next year should not be as easy, since I will be learning things I haven't truly been taught yet. I will have Basic Operating Room Techniques with a lab in the fall and clinicals for 3 weeks in December. Then my last semester I will have Advanced Operating Room Techniques with clinicals on Thursday and Friday and Professional Certifications seminar. Then I will graduate and still have to complete a month of clinicals in June. Then it will be on to the job-hunt. I would love to take a trip to the Holy Land with my sister after I am done in July. Not sure if she can handle the whole flight over the ocean though. Then it will be on the job-hunt again. For now I look forward to a relaxing summer. Only 4 1/2 more weeks until we go home again for a week. Yeah!

Take Me Out to the Ballgame
Friday night our group had decided to go to see the Travelor's play at the new Dickey Stephens stadium. Something else was planned that everyone decided to go to, so it got cancelled. This did not ruin our plans though. Rachel, Rachel and I went alone. To be honest I really don't know what is going on with the game, I go for the company and food. The game was a double-header so we got there half-way through. The only seating available was the grassy berm seating and the Beer Garden (where smoking is allowed). My allergies don't need any more of an irritant so we went with the grassy berm. Whoever though it would be a great idea to have seating on the opposite side of the field in the grass, was not the brightest star in the sky. I mean I don't even have ADD but trying to watch a game with the audience behind them was a total distraction, you could barely see where the ball was half the time. We took a collective vote and decided there were plenty of empty seats in the stands, so we headed over. We found an empty row, looked like we knew what we were doing and sat down. To be real honest it did not help with my attention much. I really can't remember anything of the game. Once the lightening started all our attentions were turned to that. But I had a great time.
The sky was beautiful.
