I am a third generation seamstress, we are a dying breed. I really enjoy sewing especially making baby clothes. Recently I finally picked back up a dress I had cut out months before the Wilson baby was born and just recently finished sewing it. Let me warn you now that sewing patterns LIE. I was under the impression I was making a dress for a baby that weighed 14-18 pounds respectively. Instead this dress fits her one and a half year old sister. The following pictures are of her sister wearing the dress. At least they will get more than one use out of it.
The jacket sleeves are a little short for her and the hat is a little small for her but generally it fits

I am impressed Hannah! I think clothes are tough to make. I am a 4th generation seamstress, and I asked my mom for some pattterns for little girl's clothes (as a gift for a friend). I couldn't figure out pattern out! Kudos to you! The dress is really cute!
Take a look at our blog for pics of my latest finished project.
thanks again for the adorable dress! and i'm happy that i'll get extra use out of it!
