I love how the flash was catching the reflective tape.

This thing is massive. The stats they gave were eighteen feet four and a half inches tall. 98 feet long. It weights 545,432 pounds. It travels up to 80 miles an hour, and holds 8200 gallons of fuel.

It is called a Centennial. The largest diesel-electric locomotive to by built. Comprised of two engines in one frame. They were exclusively built for Union Pacific. The first one was delivered in 1969 so it could participate in the Golden Spike celebration in Utah.

In 1984 they were retired.
