This weekend we went to see the Annual air show at the Air Force Base. Last year we were greatly entertained by the Thunderbirds. This year the Blue Angels came. Not only were they there but I was prepared with my Nikon D70, which made me giggle. Here are the Angels starting up on the runway.

I thought this was a fun shot. These pilots watched the show from the wing of this plane.
Here are four of the angels in a tight formation.
The two on the inside are upside down and they stayed in this formation for quite a while.
I like the clouds in this shot.
The noses of these two were almost completely vertical.
Here are all six on them with smoke trailing.
I think this was the beginning of fleur de les formation.
This was near the end of fleur de les
At the end they all circled around right over the audience.
It was awesome to say the least. Let me tell you this is only a TINY fraction of the shots I took. Just during their performance I took about 200+ pictures. I was able to use my multiple shots option so I took continuous pictures. Up to 3000 frames a minute. So I need to make a Power Point and then those who missed can see some of the show. I will post more pictures but it has never allowed me to upload more than 10 pictures a day.
