I am still in the process of catching up here. This just goes to show how much I did not do at work and now that I have finished clinicals I am at the house cleaning, exercising, running errands, etc. I just have not found time to sit still and blog. So here is the first of a few posts to catch up.
My first week of clinicals Rachel noticed that the cat's paw smelled. Recently she had been licking it to make it bleed but it did not get infected until then. So after clinicals one day I took her to the vet. I guess what they say about your pet looking like you and being like you is true. The vet said the only reason he can see that she would have two matching injuries on her paws is that she has allergies and she has chewed on them to itch them. Then one of the sores got infected. So he shot her up with some steroids and antibiotics and sent her home with more antibiotics. And these cute bandaged paws so she would have meds on them for at least 24 hours. She was so funny trying to walk on them. She acted like they were broken just dangling them and she attempted to walk up the wall. I tried to catch it on video but every time I turned it on she would stop.
