Cutie Pie

Warning: the cuteness in this post is beyond reason and measure. Scroll through the pictures at your own risk of losing all sense of reason and let the sighs begin...

Sewing Payoff

Last weekend I put my sewing up. I was up to 14 outfits and decided to throw in the towel and reclaim my coffee table. The fruit of my labor are thus... This is the back
This one is also reversible
I just loved these coordinating polka dots

And the backI had quite a bit of this cloth so I made one
Two
and back

Three
and back
I was trying to take quick pictures so one side looks deformed
and the back ties, with ruffly bloomers
I guess I forgot a back picture of this one, it crosses in the back.
This is one of the smallest outfits I made.

It just could not be complete without a ruffle bottom
Detail
and the full romper
detail
and the full romper
Dress and pinafore
a Pooh toile dress that makes my day, if I were about 1 or 2 I would wear it.
shoe detail
and full outfit
The last outfit is the pink one I tried to sell on eBay. I pray that I can sell these. If not they will be on eBay.

Report in

I am sort of saddened by the news I got. I called the doctor and the receptionist read the summary to me. She said it looks ok, which means there are no masses or blocked areas shown. I kind of wanted it to be blocked so it would be a clearer and easier fix. She said my doctor wants me to see an ENT anyways. It did show mucosal swelling, which means I have sinusitis, this I already knew and was on antibiotics for. I have been on the antibiotics for a week now and I have some severe pain still today. I am not sure if this would rule out chronic sinusitis. I am not completely satisfied with the report either, since it came from a radiologist and not a doctor. She gave me a referral and my appointment with the ENT is Tuesday February 27. She said he will probably want to look at the scan, so I will need to pick it up. I pray he will have wisdom and be able to diagnose and know what to do to relieve the almost constant pain and pressure.

The CT

Well the waiting proved to be the hardest part. It seemed like I waited a long time for no reason. There was like no one else there and they were not calling anyone else back. The actual CT only took about 5-10 minutes. And St Vincent has not checked up on new technology yet. The picture I found must have been the newest sinus CT out there. The one I was put in was like just a segment of a normal CT machine. Just a sliver that my head went under. And it is so much quieter than an MRI. I called my doctor yesterday to see if he had the results. I was told they were sitting on his desk and I should call back in the morning. But it just killed me knowing it was sitting there waiting to be looked at. I wanted to bribe the receptionist into looking at it and slipping me some information. But alas here I wait until they open at 9 to find out my DOOM!

CT scan

Some of you may say it is about time that I had a CT of my sinuses. Well are you happy now?!?! I will be going in at 8:30 am to St Vincent's to have a sinus CT. I felt generally miserable on Monday and decided to go home. I took a nap and did not feel much better as the night went on. I decided that if I did not feel better at bedtime I would stay home the next day and go to the doctor. I was wanting to go back to the allergist to get a CT scan, since he was the one who brought it up. But since there are tons of people with allergies in AR it takes a few weeks to actually see him. I decided to talk to good ole Dr H. about a CT scan, since he has all the paperwork from my allergist. Sure enough I had a full blown sinus infection. Since I am not sure that the last bout of antibiotics really did much he gave me some strong antibiotics. I am talking horse pills. Then we talked about a sinus CT. Since I have had pain and pressure in my sinuses almost every day for the past 5 months, possibly longer, he decided that was probably the best idea. I could have mucus wads, or clogging in there causing the pain and pressure. I was a little nervous about the CT scan since I am afraid of small spaces. But they assured me for the sinus CT I would not be put in the tube. But rather this...

I can handle that, it's like getting the full mouth X-rays at the dentist. But it takes 30 minutes, if they want me still for 30 minutes they better tie my down. That is no easy thing for a wiggler like me.

I now understand clearly how much my parents sacrificed for me, especially when it came to my health bills. I pray they do find something, if not I will be slightly disappointed, especially because of the cost. OUCH! I am blessed to have great health insurance, too bad they don't cover this 100%. I will trust in God to provide for this. But for a moment after she told me the cost I did freak out for a few minutes. Thank you mom and dad, I never truly knew nor did I appreciate how much you did for us.

Happy Valentines Day

Yeah it is Valentines day. I have my new Valentines socks on and everything. I am even wearing red. While many people go out on dates, we will all be at home dining on broccoli and cheese chicken followed by chocolate covered strawberries. Then I think we should pull out my paraffin wax and hot rock massage and treat ourselves right. I will have to get my sewing done before Rachel gets home.

Andrew Putman

Don't let the pink passy fool you he is 6 pounds all boy. Little frog legs
Tiny hands and head

Look how skinny

And he got mad
Sour face
Sweet head
Tiny feet
Look how long of legs

Strike a pose
Look at the skinny wrinkles. I call them skinny cause there sure is not much fat.
Little ears
