I Still Do Exist

I promise I am still alive. I just have not had time to recover and settle down after our trip to Maine. We were so busy while we were there. We got back and I was ill for the first 24 hours, which Rachel then came down with and suffered for about 5 days. I also started a new relationship and school. I am very excited to see what God has in store for me. Next post I will get some pictures and data on Rob and I.
Rachel's breakfast at Atlanta's airport.
I am confused and slightly perplexed by the sheer size of this cinnamon bun and Rachel's determination to eat it.
As a dear friend noted one of the cardinal rules of eating right is not consuming pastries that are bigger than your FACE!
This day we decided to get some exercise so we headed out to Mount Agamenticus and hiked the Ring trail around the summit and also went up to the top.
Oh the beauty of Maine.

Yum yum Rocky road. I kind of look creepy just ignore that.
Ahh our fearless leader and guide, figures out the path we shall embark on.

Mt Agamenticus used to be a ski slope but due to the lack of snow accumulation it no longer is. I just loved the old and rusting ski lifts. The lift system was actually ropes that you would hold onto and it would pull you up the mountain. They must have had a low budget.

A view of New Hampshire from the peak.

Rachel had fun playing with my camera while mom and I picked up a few essentials. The grocery store is Hannafords, so Rachel wanted to capture the Hanna part for me because she loves me.
Rachel helping dad shave his neck before the viewing. Dad has an official Fahmahs (farmers) tan.

After our Reny's run we continued up the coast past Wells to find this little lighthouse and view.
Ocean roses. They are deliciously fragrant.
I think this is Goat Island Lighthouse.
I love the ocean.

Mommy! More roses

My little Cindy Lou Who. She had used pomade that morning to style her hair and after a days use I decided to play around with it and came up with this. I was laughing so hard I could barely stand up.
Long Sands beach. I can just smell the ocean and hear the waves when I look at this picture.

Our dear friend Bri. She is so pretty. She looks like a model in this shot.

Nubble Light.
Rachel enjoying the brisk ocean.

This was the most beautiful day to go to the beach.
Fred and Cheryl Dixon. I love these two.
Fred was asking about my camera and I was able to catch this shot.

i have to comment on the pic of rachel shaving your dad's neck. i did a double take on that, b/c it looks like she's looking in the mirror, but it's your dad's refletion. wierd!
