Growin & Petit Jean

So for the most part Rachel and I take turns putting the monkey to bed. Lately she has been the one to put him to bed. So I will go up and get her bed ready by putting two pillows on it with space for him to lay in the middle. I think this night we were downstairs watching a movie and when it was over Rachel went upstairs to check on the baby and I heard her whisper yell my name. I asked what she wanted and she told me to come here now. There was something I had to see. I was thinking that possibly he had woken up and was crawling around on her bed. She had found him like that one day after he had been down for 2 hours and I was cooking. I really thought he was down for the night until she came home and found him crawling across the bed towards her alarm clock. So I came up stairs and burst out laughing when I saw him like this...
He had maneuvered from between the pillows to his head half hanging off the bed. Now that is some tossing and turning.
You see where his binky is, that is where he started out.
But he is just so darn cute

Saturday we picked up our friend Tara, who is originally from Iran and headed out to Petit Jean Mountain. For a picnic and hiking with IFO.
Rachel at the overlook, supposedly Petit Jean's grave is right below her. They have a pretty ornate fence around what they think is her grave.
Tara is a MODEL! Not really but she should be.

Here we all are

An old lodge left on the overlook.
Rachel yawning. She just may kill me for posting this.
They actually read about the lodge

My models
A bunch of our group about to venture down the Cedar Falls Trail.
Hi Ho Hi HO

Boys will find things to climb on. I think this is a bunch of the Saudi guys. I believe I can flyThe waterfall was quite impressive due to the LARGE amount of rainfall we have had the past month or so

Hopefully that will hold you all until I can post again.
I do have pictures from the Crott's 10th anniversary at BCLR that was Sunday night. But that will be for another day.
