CT

So I am a GEEK officially. You hear that Rachel I am now proclaiming it to the world. Tomorrow is my EENT appointment. So today I made the trek to St Vincent's to pick up a copy of my CT, so I can have a medical expert opinion. So I am antsy to get there. Then I get it and it is on CD. I asked her if they did not have a film copy and she said this was how they did it. And if the Dr did not like it then he could request it or something. I was fine with that. Then on the way back to work I wondered could I access it on my computer and look at my insides. So I skipped back to work. And am totally engrossed at looking at my sinuses. And with my expert opinion, I think there are some things in there that should not be, possibly polyps. Naw I really don't know since I have never even looked at a real CT until now. So we begin here this is my HEAD! Science is so neat. We are fearfully and wonderfully made.

The first set of CTs go down my head. It is so cool there are about 101 shots that go from the top of my skull down to my chin.
You can even see my inner ear parts.
Here you can also see my top vertebrae and spinal cord. You know they are now doing scans that they superimpose on your head while in surgery so the doctor can see on your skin what is under it. I think this was the set that went from my neck up. Again about 101 pictures.

Then they scanned from my face back. The grey splotchy areas are my eye sockets.

So what's the word? We had a crash course in interpreting CTs in pharm school, so I tell you that there's something wrong, but that's all. Praying for you!
