General Frustration
Well Steph I would love to tell you that you are correct, but my doctor would disagree. He said the radiologist was right there were just patches that showed some fluid and swelling due to the sinusitis. He said it would take 3-6 weeks for antibiotics to change a CT scan, so it should be completely accurate. As he told me he could do nothing for me I just wanted to break down and cry. He said he recently read in the New England Journal that many people who complain of sinus headaches are really suffering from migraines. Now I have had a migraine before, I get sick to my stomach and can't see well and have to just lay down and try to sleep. I told him it did not make sense because it starts out with pressure and pain in my sinuses and then I get a headache from it. He said he could do surgery but he does not think it will help at all. That day I did not have a headache and haven't had once since, until now. I can feel the pain and pressure that always leads to a headache. The pain is like when you get water up your nose. He gave me a prescription and some samples of Singulair, which is about the last allergy pill left for me to try. And the second day on it I was sneezing and my nose was running. He recommended that I go to a neurologist, but that is exactly what I did not want to happen. For things to be vague and recommend I go see someone else and then possibly have more tests done, etc. As someone suggested at Bible study this may be the thorn that I bear. I just don't like it much, at least it is not gastric pain, of all the pains, that is the one I just don't bear very well at all.
