Life These Days

I just can't seem to get a break. But that is the way life goes when you juggle 40 hours of work, 9 hours of Surgical Tech school, a 3 hour online computer course, a boyfriend, friends, church, serving, Bible Study, choir, etc, etc. I have been blessed that I only really felt the stress of it all before it all began. Nearing the start of school I was stressing about how I would react to no longer leaving work at 2 pm and having classes to study for and all the other things I listed. I do have a lot tighter of a schedule and almost literally have to pencil in time with Rob and friends, but it is all working out. This past weekend was a doosey. Friday night was a girl's night, well except for Jett, but seeing that he is only one month old we will let that slip. We went to El Porton, not a place to eat on a Friday night, it was jam-packed and people kept almost knocking the baby over. After dinner we went to see Lani's house and hung out until the movie at 9 something. We saw 1408, it was cheesey but ok. Definitely not scary. We then went home and I was off to bed.
Saturday: I got up at about 8 and went to get breakfast then head out to Wilson's new house to help paint and tear up floors. We were working until about 4. After that it was the shower and then Rob and I went to hang out at his house. He watched football with his brother and his mom and I talked for a few hours.
Sunday: I had Sunday school and then church. After church Rob, Caleb and I went to Chi's for lunch. They brought me back to my car and I headed to Naomi's bridal shower, where I took many pictures. After the shower it was straight to Choir practice. I had planned on then going to Care Group but I was beyond tired. Rachel had to remind me to buy food for the week. So I grocery shopped and went home. I ended up falling asleep at about 8:45 in the middle of a movie.
And as always here are the pictures of the whirl of this weekend.

The Boys supervise our painting.

Ben is a multitasker. Donut and unloading.
Yeah so Elizabeth was thinking about putting the paint on her face like a football player. I brought up the war paint. She thought I was joking but went on ahead with her football paint and I came in and streaked the paint down my nose so she joined in the fun.

Removing border

Ok this wall demolition I was so pumped up about. I was ready to hear sledgehammers bang and plaster to fly. Sadly they performed the surgery the delicate way.

How cute is she?
Aaron working hard or hardly working? You decide.

Girls were painting and boys were moving.

There is always time for a few laughs.

Oh the joy. Under this paint lay wallpaper, that showed its head by buckling after an almost complete coat of paint.

Rob's Hog.

This was two layers of linoleum one on top of the other. It was fun to peel off though.

Naomi's shower. The cake was decorated in her wedding colors...fall.
Naomi cuts the cake.

Our two cute pregos.
All the presents that surrounded her.
The mother of the groom and bride.
Naomi loved her chairs. They were so PRETTY.

Callie sister of the bride.

Gena sister of the bride.

Bri the sister of the bride with her back to us.

And Desi the eldest sister of the bride. In blue.

My I miss Hannah flowers from Rob. Oh they make my room smell so delightful! I was overjoyed when he brought them to the airport with him.
Love the Stargazer lilies.
