This was the last picture I took of the snow. I was trying to show how much we got. I love how it glistens.
This was taken about an hour before the snow stopped.
Here is the pretty farm house covered with snow.
Here is the injury part. My story goes... Rachel and I decided to go out to the back of the farm to take some pictures and video footage. We walked on the dirt road that is marked by deep tractor tire tracks. I knew there were puddles there and we proceeded with caution. Rachel had just shot some footage of me and providentially I had my new EXPENSIVE digital camera in a Ziploc bag because it was still snowing. Within seconds of her stopping recording I stepped on some ice and my feet went up in the air and my butt went through the ice. It was freezing cold so I did not feel any pain. I was just freaking out that I was wet and it was a muddy manure mixture. I stepped down and the puddle was so deep it started coming over my boots that came up to my knees about. I freaked out the entire way up to the house. My hair had gotten wet from the splash I made and I was wet from above the belly button down. When I toweled off from sanitizing myself in the shower I felt a knot on my leg just above my knee and knew that was going to be a pretty black color. But here let me show you the damage. The only dry part of my lower body was my right knee.

This is where my butt went through. Dad had already driven the tractor through it so you can’t exactly tell. I circled the approximate area.
This is all the damage done by it. That one long bruise wraps around my leg. I am glad for the freezing water because that would have HURT! Rachel was upset her camera was not on because that would have been perfect to sent to America’s Funniest Home Videos. She saw it all but did not have time to turn the camera on. She did turn it on to catch me getting out and retrieving my Diet Mountain Dew bottle. The other leg is fine so I must have taken the weight on this leg.
Can you say ouch!
