Maine Maine and More Maine

This would be my Aunt Patty and her everlasting forehead. She joked that she looked like a cancer patient with my patriots cap on.
Our darling Kim being aggressive with her eldest Ella. Ella was giggling, actually we all were when Kim put on the felt helmet and acted out.
Rachel with Ella and Anna. Ella is holding the doll mom bought her for Christmas, the dress she is wearing mom made to match a dress she made for Ella.
Here is me and little Anna-cabana. She had been playing with shiny wrapping paper for a good hour then when I held her she calmed down and fell asleep.
Dad taking his afternoon nap after lunch and before returning to farm work. Of course he naps with as many cats as will stay on him.
Dad was trying to loosen something on the equipment so he chained it to the bucket on the tractor and was driving it forward to try to loosen it.
Rachel was mad at me for posting pictures of Bonsai and Spooks and not posting any of Butterscotch. This is the kitten dad found and saved back in August. Mom said he could revive him and then it would be back to the barn, but then she fell in love with him and he is the third indoor cat there.
When we got there I thought Butterscotch smelled a little funny but I really thought nothing of it. Later we noticed he was licking himself a lot and Rachel eventually looked at him and there was lots of puss etc. So we took him to the vet and he had either got bit by Spooks or had bit himself and then kept licking it so he got a really bad infection. So they gave us antibiotics to give to him and this c-collar to put on so he would not lick it, so it could heal. He looked so sad in it. He would still try to lick himself and would just lick the collar. The day after we left he was healed totally so mom took off the collar and it seems he is the one who bit himself because sure enough he bit himself again and was bleeding. So mom is going to keep the collar on him until he is old enough to get fixed.
He adapted well to the collar and enjoyed chasing this ribbon and even his tail once.
