Try this one on for size

So I am in class again yesterday. Everyone else had been there all day. So one well intentioned guy turns around and says hi. Then he gets distracted and turns around again to tell me... "Wow you have lost a LOT of weight over the holidays" And boy did he put the emphasis on the LOT. I thanked him but kindly told him really I had gained a tiny bit when I was gone and now have lost it again. To give him credit I had lost some prior to Maine but after I was done with school. So he is seeing about a few pound difference. But it sounded like I had lost an entire person worth of weight, which is FAR from true. He told me he could tell in my face and I looked thinner. He really does not have the male excuse because he is married. She would probably beat him if he said that to her. So made for an exciting first day of classes.
