Sadly time flew by while we were gone. We are both sad to come back to Arkansas and leave all of our family behind. We really enjoyed our time up there. This will be the last year that we can communicate with our Grandfather, and much of what he said was jumbled up so badly you could not understand. His brain is just to the point where he can't get his thoughts out in speech much of the time. But you could pretty much guess he wanted food or to go out in the barn.
This is Spooks who used to be the evil cat. Grandma found him in the garden when he was young and he must have been beaten, because a lot of the time even when you are petting him he would scratch you. And if you walked by he would bat at you and draw blood. He is fine now and only batted at me once becuase I almost stepped on him.
Here is Bonsai, she is my cat but she is so old I did not want to keep her and have her die on me. She sleeps by the vents much of the day, her circulation is getting bad. 
This is what Grandpa spends most of his time doing. Napping on the couch. Which ends up being one of the safest activities he does these days.
Mouth open and snoring
These are my Grandpas hands they are still very very strong, from working the farm almost his entire life. Now they are also very clean.
