Two tugs that have done their work for the day. It is amazing to see these boats in action, guiding huge tankers and barges up the river.
The back bridge is Rachel's favorite, it is the only high bridge. The closer green one is one of the two draw bridges.
This is why people don't worry about a little snow and ice up north. These are piles of sand and salt, and really sand does not do much, but lay some salt and you are good to go.

This is the Portland Shipyard. I think all US subs were made here. But I might be wrong, I do know the USS Razorback which is currently on the Arkansas river was made there.
