God is so good to my family. There has been much distress in my immediate family over my grandfather. Especially since we went up there a few weeks ago. In a month, from the time mom and dad moved out to when we came Grandpa was noteably going down hill and fast. Dad thought we could lose him any day. We have been praying and begging our family to do more for Grandpa. Get him the care he needs, such as a nursing home or even just take him to the doctor more. Our prayers were answered last week when he had to be taken to the emergency room becuase his lungs were filled up with fluids. I could have told them that when we were there. They admitted him for 10 days. The second night he took all his IVs out and took off his hospital gown and made a visit to the room next door. I pray they slept through it, but the staff found him and restrained him properly. He is so confused and does not know where he is. So now my Aunt has agreed to have Gould come and assess him and tell them what care Grandpa needs. It took hospitalization to make them fully realize but now Grandpa is going to get what he needs and deserves. I am OVERJOYED!
I just got a peek at my tentative schedule for next semester and by far this is going to be the hardest to juggle school and work. I NEED my downtime and have been blessed to be able to come in at 5:30 every day and leave at 2 since school has been out. But now with my class and lab I will be working some late nights and I am not sure how I can do this. A major prayer too is that I will be able to have the Wednesday/Thursday lab so I can continue to serve with IFO and in our Bible study. If I get the Monday/Tuesday I will no longer be able to serve or attend in either. I really don't want to sacrifice that. I sent an email to my instructor telling her that if she can put me in the Wed/Thurs that would be very helpful to me. So now I just have to wait.
