For our last Conversation Club of the semester we all got together and had a potluck and games. There was foods from many countries. I love foreign food.
Peter is such a sweet gentle giant. I wish his wife could come some time. I would love to meet her, since he is such a character.

Lisa who is from Egypt.
Peter and Greg talking about France I am sure since Peter studied French and Greg is from there.
Yummy food.
Nancy and TaraNancy is such a riot and Tara is a darling girl.
Rawad conversing over dinner.

Lisa and her husband Nathan
Aur and Kelly
Sunny and Surya

Peter being well Peter.

This was Abdul's last night with us. He is moving to Ohio.
No he is not proposing, he had to leave and was apologizing to Rachel.
Game #1. You have a sheet with a list of facts such as owns a cat, had green eyes, lived with a host family, etc. Then you have to find one person to sign for each fact that is true of them and whoever fills the sheet first wins.

Sunny won.
Game #2 was a cross of pictionary and guesstures.
They were split into teams and one person would go up and get a word and could act it out or draw or a little of both.

Tara drawing.
Aur drawing.
Hao acting.

Then out came the hula hoop. Challengers began. Hao was acting like he was sleeping, he moved around while hulaing and other antics.

Rawad was able to hula for a little

Michael has been hiding his talent for hula hooping.
Bebe was good too.
The champ Hongque. He can hula over 500 times.
Sweet friends.
I think Harish is the culprit.

My hidden talent.
I really thought I did not possess the skills to hula anymore but I can. And wow it will whittle your waist down. I may just have to buy one.
Surfin in the USA.
Rachel prefers her neck.
But she too was surprised that she could still hula too.

At our WW meeting they told us that 1 minute of hula hooping is like running an 8 minute mile. I'd hula hoop if I could but I can't (though you'd think with my hips I could :) )
