Marginal Way

We go to Maine to enjoy family and friends and get delight in the cool weather. That delight was short lived, as we seemed to have brought the heat and some humidity with us. Wednesday we decided to brave the 95 degree weather and head up to Ogunquit and walk the Marginal Way. This is where dad proposed to mom. Sara had planned on lounging in her pool but because she loves us, she braved the Way with us. We were sweating and dying for water despite the ocean breeze once we got to the end. We finished our water about half way through the way back. I forgot my hair clippy so the majority of the time I was holding my hair up to keep it from sticking to my shoulders. I can't stand that.

We also stopped to put our feet in the water on the way back to help cool us down some. Boy did it feel good.

Everytime I go up to Maine I come desiring some sort of seafood delight. When it is summer time you have got to have Steamers. Yum Yum. Steamers are just steamed clams. I bought 2 1/2 pounds and Rachel decided to just get one. Oh the delight. I cooked them and ate almost all of mine. Mom had a few, she enjoys her seafood as much as I do.
Nothing like a steamer with a little clarified butter.

Getting ready for bed and checking to see if I have more RSVPs for mom's party.
